IE ELECTIVE PREREGISTRATION

- Fourth year students are required to take departmental elective courses. Each student must make a list of three elective courses offered by the department he/she intends to register. The order of preference among the courses in his/her list should be given as shown below in the sample e-mail content. Courses will be assigned to the students by the department according to their choices (as much as possible).

- Courses assigned to students will be posted on 14.02.2010, Sunday on the department bulletin boards and on the web.

- Students should submit their choices by an e-mail with the subject "IE Elective Preregistration" to the following address: ie@cankaya.edu.tr due 12.02.2010 Friday by 13:00.

- We recommend the students to contact with the lecturer of the courses before determining the order of preferences. The courses have following prerequisites:

    -IE 471: To be taken IE 362 Production Planning II and had a grade different from NA

- E-mail should only contain student's name and surname, ID number, number of courses to be registered, and the course code of the choices in the order of preference (1 for most preferred, 3 for least preferred). Note that the list contains all of the elective courses offered by the department.

- Students should note that the department has the right to assign any course to any student who has not sent an e-mail.

- Offered courses and the lecturers are as follows. Students may obtain tentative description about courses by clicking on the course codes.
