The Department of Industrial Engineering at Çankaya University, in collaboration with Istanbul Technical University (İTÜ), organized the 2026 International Conference on Intelligent and Fuzzy Systems (INFUS 2026) on July 7–9, 2026.

Held under the theme "Artificial Intelligence for a Sustainable Future: Driving Innovation in the Circular Economy," INFUS 2026 provided an international platform for presenting recent advances in artificial intelligence, fuzzy systems, optimization, machine learning, intelligent decision support systems, and sustainable engineering.

Prof. Dr. Orhan Karasakal, Head of the Department of Industrial Engineering at Çankaya University, delivered the inaugural speech. A video of his inaugural speech is available below.

Faculty members of the Department of Industrial Engineering, together with their undergraduate and graduate students, presented research spanning Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Optimization, Fuzzy Systems, Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain Management, Cloud Computing, and Sustainable Engineering.

Hosting INFUS 2026 reflects the department's continued commitment to advancing internationally recognized research, strengthening academic collaboration, and developing innovative solutions to contemporary engineering challenges.
